Healthy Club
Many thanks to everyone who attended our Monday Club on Monday last. Mass was concelebrated for the deceased members of the club by Fr Donal Leahy, Fr Denis Kelleher & Fr Eamonn Barry. It was a lovely and fitting tribute to our former players & friends of Midleton GAA Club and we were delighted to welcome friends from far and near. Sincere thanks to everyone who helped out organizing Mass and to Charlie McAlister for organising the choir. Next Monday Club is on Monday 25th of May at 10.30am in Midleton GAA Club, all welcome.

Dia Dhaoibh a chairde,

Ladies Football
Cork Senior B Championship v Kerry Sat 25th April
Well done to Molly and Sadhbh Beausang who lined out for the Cork Ladies Football Senior B team last Saturday. Both ladies put in an excellant display and both got their names on the scoresheet contributing 2 points each. Final score on the day was Cork 2-18 Kerry 2-05. Their next Championship game is this Saturday in Carrigaline at 2 pm v Tipperary.

U12
Our U12 White team began their League campaign with an away game against Lisgoold on Monday last. A fantastic of display of football from the girls. The team was lead on the night by captain Siún. Plenty of more matches scheduled for the coming weeks.

U13
The girls made it 5 out of 5 wins in their league match Monday against a strong Glanmire team. This group has gone from strength to strength, their attitude and work rate is phenomenal. Thanks to Glanmire for traveling, Ref Sean and the 2 u12s for helping us out.

Ladies Football County Féile 2026
Best of luck to our U15 girls who travel to Rosscarbery GAA Club on Monday May 4th for the County Féile. A great achievement for this team. Safe travels to you all.
Camogie
U8’s:
Our U8’s enjoyed a camogie blitz on Saturday 25th April in Park South. The girls out all their training into practice and showed how their skills are improving week by week. Well done girls.

U12’s:
Our U12’s faced Sars on Sunday 26th April in an exciting league clash, led by Captina Isabell K. Both teams put in fantastic performances, but it was the Magpies who came out on top in the end. More challenges lie ahead for these girls with tough fixtures against Kilworth and St. Catherine. Best of luck girls.

Féile:
Midleton entered two teams into Féile this year with our girls of age and our U14 team.
Our U15’s faced strong teams of Eire Og, Newtownshandrum and Aghabullogue. Unfortunately, despite a strong first game when they beat Eire Og the girls lost out to two strong North Cork teams and were unable to progress.
Well done girls.

U14’s:
Our U14 girls entered in Division 2, Group 2 of Féile and played three games In St. Finbarr’s GAA in Round 1 against Watergrasshill Kinsale and St. Finbarr’s. In very warm weather the girls played their hearts out in these fast-paced games of 12 minutes a side, winning all 3 games over a two-hour period to come out on top of our group and qualifying for the Quarter Finals against Clonakility on the same evening. Unfortunately, the game just didn’t go our way and despite the girls putting up a great battle we were beaten by a strong Clonakilty team. But to say we are proud of our girls would be an understatement their work rate, teamwork and determination during all games was outstanding, and they represented our club so well. We are already looking forward to getting another chance to play in Féile next year and putting this years’ experience to good use. Well, done girls.
