Scór Sinsir

Scór Sinsir is all set to go in Imokilly following the finalisation of our East Cork dates (listed below) by Coiste Scór Uí Mac Choille.

Remember there are eight events/disciplines in Scór that cover all aspects of Irish culture: Rince Foirne/Figure Dancing, Amhránaíocht Aonair/Solo Singing, Bailéad Ghrúpa/Ballad Group, Aithriseoireacht-Scéalaíocht/Recitation-Scéalaíocht, Nuachleas/Novelty Act, Ceol Uirlise/Instrumental Music, Rince Seit/Set Dancing and Tráth na gCeist/Table Quiz.

With the Tráth na gCeist competition at our East Cork Final, there will be NO QUALIFICATION to the County. An open County Tráth na gCeist – Table Quiz Round as per Leabhar Rialacha Scór will be held on Wednesday 26th February in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 7:30pm. We encourage as many Imokilly clubs to compete in the County Quiz.

Please note for Rince Foirne and Rince Seit, where a team of eight is entered, two members in their last year for Scór na nÓg may be permitted to dance as outlined in Leabhar Rialacha Scór.
Entry forms can be sent to Alan Whelan, Knockaheem, Leamlara, Co. Cork by FRIDAY 14th OF FEBRUARY.

Scór na bPáistí

Scór na bPáistí is ready to commence in the division. Remember there are eleven events/disciplines in Scór na bPáistí that cover all aspects of Irish culture: Rince Foirne/Figure Dancing, Amhránaíocht Aonair/Solo Singing, Bailéad Ghrúpa/Ballad Group, Aithriseoireacht-Scéalaíocht/Recitation-Scéalaíocht, Nuachleas/Novelty Act, Ceol Uirlise/Instrumental Music, Rince Seit/Set Dancing,Tráth na gCeist/Table Quiz, Rince Aonair/Solo Dance, Ceol Aonair/Solo Music and Rince ar Seanós/Seanós Dancing.

All the details are with the clubs and National Schools. Entry forms accompanied by the consent forms can be sent to Alan Whelan, Knockaheem, Leamlara, Co. Cork by THURSDAY 13th FEBRUARY.
