IN THE RED OF CORK What can we say about last Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling Final. An absolute epic of a game but unfortunately, by the narrowest of margins, our Cork heroes came out on the wrong side of the result after over 90 minutes of incredible action. A big well done to all the Cork players and management for giving us supporterts an incredible few months and especially to our own Conor Lehane, Tommy O'Connell and Brion Saunderson. Hard luck boys but thanks for all your effort and class.W..

BRIDE ROVERS GAA CLUB NOTES.    .REBELS EXTRA HEARTBREAK.History was made for all the wrong reasons last Sunday in Croke Park as Cork hurlers were pipped by Clare after an absolutely wonderful game. Fair play to Clare their fourth time taking home the Liam McCarthy Cup and their fifth ever Senior Hurling title -Mike Liddane was smiling in the rain in Cobh a few weeks back when he played on thee Rovers winning League team, he’s really over the moon this week! Rightly so because Clare won a s..

Heartbreak for RebelsA game for the ages, a classic, a match that will live long in the memory. All the superlatives do not do justice to the display that Cork and Clare put on display last Sunday in Croke Park. For Pat Ryan, his charges and the people of Cork however, it was a crushing defeat. 80 minutes of rip-roaring action only to lose by a single point after extra-time is an awful way to lose any game, never mind an All-Ireland Final. Neither team deserved to lose but sport is cruel and ult..

Under 13’s pipped at the postRebel Óg Coiste, Fé13 HL, Group 4A Watergrasshill 5-2 V 5-5 Nemo RangersLast Friday week, In a fairly close game played in Glenville, our gallant U-13 boys narrowly lost out to Nemo Rangers. There was nothing between the sides throughout, out and only to lose out by conceding a few silly  frees in the end and missing a few scores up the other end was a tough lesson four our boys. The lads worked hard for  the hour and put in a great effort against a physical N..

Final Fever Gripping CorkExcitement is building in the Rebel County for the All-Ireland final on Sunday. Cork were last featured in the ‘’Big One’’ in 2021 where we were comprehensively defeated by the mighty Limerick team. Our opponents this time around Clare have been in scintillating form all throughout the season with wins over Kilkenny, Tipperary and Cork in previous rounds. We hope for another classic that matches the drama of the 2013 final (with the result going our way this time..
