U7 Football Blitz – Mallow

Our U7s got their season underway at their first football blitz of the year in the Mallow Complex on Saturday morning.
Fielding two teams, the boys put in a fantastic display of skill, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the morning. There was plenty of excellent football on show, with great scores, strong tackling and a real willingness to work for one another evident in all the games.
Despite it being their first outing of the season, the players showed great confidence and enjoyment, with everyone getting well involved and contributing. It was particularly encouraging to see the progress being made and the positive attitude shown by all the players.
A big thank you to the organisers for hosting a very enjoyable blitz, to all the parents for their continued support, and to our mentors for their great work and dedication with the group.

U14 Championship Launch at Páirc Uí Chaoimh
represented Glenville and Watergrasshill at the official launch of the U14 Championship in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
It was a great occasion for the players to be involved in, marking the start of this year’s championship and bringing together clubs from across the county. All four represented their clubs with pride on the day and enjoyed the experience of being part of the launch at such an iconic venue.
It was a proud moment for the players, their families and both clubs, and a reflection of the strong work being done at underage level.
Best of luck to all involved in the championship in the weeks ahead.

Glenville Players in Action with Cork U16 Footballers
Well done to Darren, Alex and Matthew who lined out with the Cork U16 footballers in Athlone, where they faced Mayo and Roscommon.
It was a very successful day for the Cork side, recording two excellent wins on the road. All three players contributed well, showing great skill, work rate and commitment throughout both games.
It is a proud achievement for the players and their families, and great to see Glenville represented at inter-county level.
Well done to all and best of luck in the games ahead.

Glenville Players Represent Rebel Óg East

Luke and Darragh were in action for the Rebel Óg East Division on Saturday in their football fixture against Mid Tipperary.
It was a proud occasion for the club to see both players representing their division at this level, and they did so with distinction throughout the game. Both showed great skill, determination and a strong work rate, contributing well in what was a competitive and challenging contest.
Their performances reflected the effort they continue to put in at club level, and it is encouraging to see their development being recognised with divisional honours.
Well done to both players on their performances, and we look forward to seeing them continue to progress in the months ahead.
