Killeagh GAA Club Notes February 8th 2026
CLCG Cilliath, Nuacht an Chlub, Feabhra 8, 2026
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
Storms abated, for now, at least – it’s time to throw in the ball and get the season up and running. First up is our Division 4 football team who begin their campaign with a home game against Glenville on Sunday next February 15th at 2.30 p.m. With our pitches currently under review, keep an eye out on social media for a possible venue change!
Here are all our football league fixtures for the coming months, all subject to change with local arrangements possible. Given that our two teams are currently fixed to play simultaneously at 230 p.m. on alternate Sundays, it’s likely that one or other fixture will be changed from these default times. Our first four matches in Division 2 are at home, followed by three matches on the road, while our Division 3 team will have four matches at home and four away.

LOTTO LUCK TO LIMERICK!
After over a year and a half of steady climbing and a few close shaves, our €20,000 Lotto Jackpot finally went to a deserving home on Tuesday last, with Ailise Barry receiving the magic phone call from cathaoirleach Brian Barry shortly after 8.30 p.m. Congratulations to Ailise who is a student in Limerick and whose family are highly involved in all aspects of our three clubs – Inch Rovers, Killeagh Camogie and Killeagh GAA. Enjoy your great win!
For everyone else, while the opportunity to win a cool 20K has passed you by on this occasion, we encourage you to keep playing our weekly Lotto, as the jackpot starts this week at a not-to-be-sneezed-at €5,000. What are the chances of two jackpot wins in a row? The same chances that Ailise had last week! If you’re not in ……
