New Club Main Sponsor Announced
Glenville GAA Club are delighted to announce Streamline Capital Projects as the club’s new main sponsor.
The Club Executive would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Don Dorgan, owner of Streamline Capital Projects and a proud former Glenville player, for his generous support of the club and its ongoing development.
Announcing the sponsorship on social media, Don spoke of the strong role Glenville GAA played in his upbringing, describing the club as being about far more than sport. He reflected on how it was a place where lifelong friendships were formed, and where values such as discipline, teamwork and resilience were learned, along with a strong sense of belonging.
Like many rural clubs, he noted that Glenville GAA played a significant role in shaping who he is today, with lessons that remain long after playing days are over. He said it means a great deal to now be in a position to give something back and support a club that gave him so much growing up, describing clubs like Glenville as the heartbeat of their communities. Don also wished the club every success for the season ahead.
Glenville GAA are very proud to partner with Streamline Capital Projects and wish Don and his team every success in the future. The club looks forward to building a strong and successful partnership in the years ahead.

U21 Teams Get the Ball Rolling
Glenville GAA’s U21 teams have made a very encouraging start to their 2026 season, with a busy and productive few days of action across both the A and C grades reflecting the strong work being done at underage level within the club.
The U21 A side got their campaign off to a flying start with an excellent away win over Midleton GAA on their impressive new 4G pitch. Showing great resilience and determination, Glenville overturned a two-point half-time deficit to finish strongly and record a deserved 2-15 to 1-14 victory. It was a hard-fought and well-earned win that set a positive tone for the weeks ahead.
The club’s U21 C team were also in action during a packed schedule, taking on Castlelyons GAA Club in the C league. With development and participation a key focus at this stage of the season, both fixtures provided valuable game time, with a remarkable 39 different players lining out for Glenville across the two games played to date. This level of involvement highlights the depth, competitiveness and enthusiasm within the U21 ranks.
There is plenty more to look forward to next weekend, with another full round of fixtures ahead. The U21 A team will face St Colmcille’s Carraig na bhFear White’s Cross, while the U21 C side are set to take on Bride Rovers Juvenile GAA. Both games promise to be strong tests and further opportunities for players to build momentum and confidence.
Supporters are encouraged to follow Glenville GAA on social media and check the East Cork GAA website for fixture details and updates.
Well done to all players and management on a positive and promising start to the U21 season.

Participation was strong throughout the challenge, with a steady flow of walkers turning out daily and contributing to the overall total. The achievement reflects a real appetite within the club to get active, particularly during the winter period, and highlights the positive atmosphere around the initiative.
The club would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part, whether logging a few steps or many kilometres, for playing their part in reaching the target so early. With the challenge continuing, participants are encouraged to keep the momentum going and finish on a high over the remaining days.
