DERMOT O’CONNOR RIP
We start our notes this week by sending our condolences to Mary and all the large O’Connor clan, originally of Knocknaskeaugh and currently of Carrignashinny, on the passing of the legendary Dermot, just weeks after he celebrated his 95th birthday. A great age for a great man, who was dearly loved by all his family. The contribution of Dermot, Mary and all their children and grandchildren in our community and beyond is immense. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.
We send our condolences also to Jack Farrelly on the passing of his dad Eamonn in San Francisco. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé freisin.

Congratulations to all the 2025 All-Stars – footballers, hurlers, male and female - but a special bualadh bos mór to our neighbour Ciarán Joyce on getting overdue recognition for his gaiscí sa gheansaí dearg! Go n-éirí leat sa gheansaí dearg chéanna sa bhliain seo chugainn, a Chiaráin!
FIXTURE
We have one outstanding fixture to complete the 2026 season – our minor hurlers will take on Ballinora in the Division 1 East Hurling League Final in Midleton (Park South) GAA on Saturday next, December 6th, at 3.00 p.m. Get the club colours out for one last gallop! Slán go fóill!
