Our youngest magpies had great fun on Saturday morning in big numbers over in Park South. Some great skills and hard strikes were on display during our in house blitz which was made up of 6 teams from all our U6s. We have our first proper blitz coming up in a few weeks against Erin's Own which all the boys are very excited for. Anyone wishing to become a magpie who has recently started school and were born in 2020 will be starting in early November in the community centre. More details to come soon! We will see all our U6s again on Saturday morning in Park South at 10am. For more details contact Shane 0861038029
The very best of luck to the Midleton senior hurling team and management on Friday night against The Glen.

Fé16 P1 Hurling Championship Final
In what will be a busy number of weeks for the Fe16 panel and other Juvenile Teams within the club. It begins next Monday the 22nd when the Fe16 panel will travel to Church Road, Blackrock to face Ballincollig in the Rebel Óg Fe16 Premier 1 Hurling Championship final with a 8pm throw in. The panel are travelling to play the game being very aware of the challenge that lies ahead. In the games that they have played in the championship to date, the players have displayed great teamwork and commitment to each other. We would ask that as much support as possible is given to the players on Monday evening in Blackrock and hopefully further juvenile success will be secured for the club and these young Magpies.
Ladies Football
U16
Well done to our U16 Ladies who battled hard against a strong St Colemans team on Wed Sept 27th in the semi final of their Championship. We led at the half time break but St Colmans fought back and went 2 points ahead but the girls never gave up and fought to the final whistle and finished up winners on the evening. Final score was Midleton 2-12 St Colemans 2-07. Well done to all involved.
Junior Ladies
The winning streak continues for our Junior Ladies who had another great win againt St Finbarrs in their Championship Round Robin game on Thurs Sept 11th. The team played some excellant Football and got some excellant scores. This win puts them top of the Championship table with one game remaining against Erins Own.
Camogie
Under 13’s:
Our U13’s played their second game in the U14 2 Championship away to Douglas on Saturday September 13th last. The girls put on a fine performance against a very sporting Douglas team and played their hearts out from the very first minute to ensure they came away with a strong win. We are so proud of every one of these girls who have put so much effort and enthusiasm into each and every game and it showed in a fantastic display of passing, hooking and attacking - which resulted in a great win for us. Our last game in this round of the championship is against Aghabullogue (home in Park South) on Saturday September 27th.
Under 14’s:
Our U14’s travelled to Clonakilty to play their 2nd group game in the championship on Sunday 14th of Sept. With condition underfoot and weather very difficult, the girls showed great determination in a tight game with scores hard to come by. Leading by a few points at half the girls kicked on for second half and came out winners on a score line of 3-5 to 0-4. Well done to Sophie who captained us. This is the second win from 2 games for the girls. Our final group game is this Sunday away to Mallow.
Under 16’s:
Well done to our U16’s who took on Ballincollig in a challenge match on Saturday 13th of Sept. Our girls played some great Camogie and in the end the teams couldn’t be separated, finishing in a draw, Midleton 3:10, Ballincollig 2:13. Our next championship game is against Milford on Tuesday 23rd under lights on the 3G in park south.
