Great win for U16s
U16 Div 4 Football League
Glenville 6.10
Ballycastle Gaels 2.09
A good win for this team again on Friday evening last at home against a good Ballycastle side.
A quick start from our opponents early on had us chasing the game, but we gradually grew into this one and after weathering the early storm a Harry hat trick of goals before the halftime whistle gave us some breathing space and some excellent points from James, Alan, and Billy plus further goals from Eoghan and Joe kept us ahead at the break.
An even 2nd half with both teams finding it a bit more difficult to find scores, kept the tie competitive but a cracker of a goal from Joe and further points from James, and Alan kept us ahead at the full-time whistle. Overall, a good display and a good win. This was our fourth game in this league, winning three.
Well done to everyone who contributed so well on the night. We had 18 players present
Final score Glenville 6.10 Ballycastle 2.09

St.Colman’s U18
Hard luck to St Colman's U18 Footballers who reached the final and narrowly lost out by a goal in the final of the Lord Mayor Cup in MTU beating Rochestown , Patrician Academy Mallow and Clonakilty along the way to reach that stage . Glenville had seven representatives on the team and did great .
