U14’s just lose out

Our U14 boys put in a great effort last week but just came up short in their Rebel Óg Championship Round 2 match. There was nothing between the team right to the end and our lads could have won it out but for a disallowed goal at the death. Regardless of the result, there was great scoring from our lads again with a tally of 1-16, they played a very mature game of hurling and every single player gave 110%. We are very proud of them and their performances so far. Still more championship games to come I'm sure they will bounce back. The lads have to play Killeagh, Nemo and Cobh in the coming weeks so we wish them all the best.
Bus weekend for our U11’s
Our U-11 boys are continuing to enjoy their hurling and hosted Fermoy and Kiltha Óg recently in Watergrasshill. The boys are really improving week on week and their dedication to training is showing in their improving skill levels. There’s great craic too which is evident at all of the boys sessions, so keep up the work lads and keep enjoying your hurling.
Lotto
There was no winner of the Lotto Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 10, 13, 14 & 26. Lucky dip winners, who each receive €30 each are Seán O’Callaghan, Kevin O’Mahony, Elaine Dorgan and Aoife/Emme/Maeve O’Connell. Congrats to you all. Next week's jackpot is €12,300 and draw will take place on 3rd June in The Hut Bar.
Tickets are on sale in some of the village businesses like The Hut Bar, Johnny's Shop and our Lotto stand in Ross's Centra. Tickets can also be purchased on-line via our club website (www.watergrasshillgaa.ie). The Club would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members and supporters of the Watergrasshill GAA Club Lotto. The Club Lotto is a vital source of income for the running of all our teams within the Club and for future development of our facilities, so we ask you to please support it if you are in a position to do so.
