Supporters Wall Fundraising Campaign
For over 12 months now, the club has been reinvesting heavily in much needed facilities and maintenance works to continue our goal of offering our members standards and services that they expect and deserve.
We have opened a new Gym, upgraded our Lounge, installed new fencing at Copperalley and sand treated our main pitch.
However, Youghal GAA is now commencing the process of upgrading it’s Magners Hill pitch facilities.
Our objective is to bring Youghal GAA’s playing facilities up to par with the best clubs in the county and country. This will give all our teams, adults and children, women and men, every chance to compete at the highest level.
Our key aims include the development of floodlighting and All Weather Training facilities that facilitate all year round football and hurling training and matches, the development of a floodlit Ball Wall and all weather playing area and the development of a walking/running circuit at Magniers Hill.
We are committed to raising the funds required via Sponsorship, Fundraisers and Grant Aid.
We are now at a key fundraising stage with our "Supporters Wall", which we launched in the club last Friday night, and invite you to give much needed consideration to it.

Hennessy's Bar Sports Star Award
The joint winners for the month of February are both Cúlann Geary and Jake Cooper.
No stranger to big performances on the hurling field, Cúlann was a big part of the UCC team, who were crowned the All Ireland Intermediate College Champions on a score line of UCC 2-18, UOG 0-16. In recent times, Cúlann also featured for the Cork Under 20's and was part of the winning squad that won the 2023 All Ireland Hurling Championship. Congrats Cúlann and no doubt Cúlann will be looking forward to a busy couple of months with Youghal GAA.
Jake Cooper and his colleagues in the Garda College delivered a fantastic performance to win the Ryan Cup. Now stationed in Togher in Cork, Jake is a member of the Youghal intermediate team who are doing well at the moment and hopefully, they will enjoy a good Championship campaign. A cousin of the great Gooch Cooper, we would like to congratulate Jake on his recent success and we wish him well in the months ahead.
Margaret Murphy RIP
The members of Youghal GAA want to offer our sincere sympathies to Veronica (Youghal Camogie Club Treasurer), Denis (past player) and the extended Murphy family, whose mother Margaret sadly passed away on Tuesday.
Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time, and with all her grandchildren and relations with associations with our club.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
