All roads from Dungourney village led to Pairc Uí Chaoimh in anticipation of the county final day. Dungourney played very well to win their first Cork Intermediate title on top of their 2015 Junior A success.  Our goalie 18 year old Paul Flynn had at least 4 excellent saves which really helped Dungourney on their way. Man of the match Shane Hegarty,  Ryan Denny and Jack Leahy scored 1-14 of Dungourneys total on the day, with Hegarty doing most of the damage. A penalty in the second half which saw Ryan Denny Bury the sliotar to the bottom corner topped off their day. Cloughduv had 13 wides as opposed to Dungourney's 7.

Dungourney supporters thronged the GAA grounds on Sunday evening for the young team managed by Martin Denny for a memorable night that will be remembered for a long time.
