BRIDE ROVERS GAA NOTES. NEWTOWN COMIN’ THURSDAY.  The weekend saw the fine weather arrive at last and while, strictly speaking, it mightn’t yet be summer it feels like it. Our footballers had a walkover on Friday, the Senior Hurlers play Newtownshandrum on tonight Thursday, Cork hurlers and footballers had great victories. The Lotto Jackpot was not won last week. We had two hurling games on Saturday- both away. The Seniors had a high-scoring draw whilst our third XV were pipped by a point.
