Youghal GAA Golf Classic 21st July '22 at Youghal Golf Club

Last Thursday was another fantastic day for our Club with the holding of our Golf Classic. A total of 60 teams, comprising of three per team, took part. Play commenced just before 9am and continued until the last team teed off at 5.22pm. It was perfect weather for a round of golf and this was reflected both in the scoring and the feedback from the players. The round was followed by a meal in the clubhouse for all. It is our main fundraiser of the year, and as such, we are so grateful to all the participants, sponsors, supporters and Golf Classic Committee for all their support and contributions. We would also like to acknowledge the fine club and staff at Youghal Golf Club for everything they did on the day.

Congratulations to the winning team sponsored by The Roma Grill which was ably led by Genie Shiels, who is no stranger to the winner’s podium at Youghal Golf Club.

Well done to all the other teams who competed and enjoyed their day.

Cúl Camp '22

Our thanks to Fiona Walsh, Anto Dillon and the Team, for organising this year’s Cúl Camp. It is going to be a great week for all the children with lots of fun and games in store. Our thanks also, to Happy Grillmores and Happy Bakemores for the Healthy Lunch options being provided daily.

The club is really looking forward to welcoming athletes to our facilities for the duration of the Ironman weekend and prior to this major sporting event, we would like to wish all those taking part an enjoyable and successful weekend. The club, like our town will be transformed on August 12th, 13th and 14th. All Camper Van and Camping Spaces at the club have been fully booked for some time.

To Cormac and Our U17's Team who won their Hurling League Final v Cobh on the 19th July. The club is so proud of what you have achieved.
