Youghal GAA Golf Classic 21st July '22 at Youghal Golf Club

Last Thursday was another fantastic day for our Club with the holding of our Golf Classic. A total of 60 teams, comprising of three per team, took part. Play commenced just before 9am and continued until the last team teed off at 5.22pm. It was perfect weather for a round of golf and this was reflected both in the scoring and the feedback from the players. The round was followed by a meal in the clubhouse for all. It is our main fundraiser of the year, and as such, we are so grateful to all the participants, sponsors, supporters and Golf Classic Committee for all their support and contributions. We would also like to acknowledge the fine club and staff at Youghal Golf Club for everything they did on the day.

Congratulations to the winning team sponsored by The Roma Grill which was ably led by Genie Shiels, who is no stranger to the winner’s podium at Youghal Golf Club.

Well done to all the other teams who competed and enjoyed their day.
