We had great entertainment last Sunday night in Lisgoold. Aghada had three entries. The quiz team consisted of Pearse O’Neill Kevin Foley and Michael O’Brien; while not winning they held their own. In the instrumental music John Wall, Kathleen Lordan, Mary Rice, Rory Ó Gormain and Tom Cribb played some lovely music but failed to qualify. Kathleen Lordan also took part in the solo singing and was the star of the night giving a tremendous performance, which swept her opponents away to take the East Cork title. Kathleen now goes on to the county semi final on next Sunday night the 6th Feb in Lisgoold.
