All quiet on the playing field this week , and the Pitch Improvement Plan is gathering pace . The hard working team overseeing the progress of , and improvement in , our playing pitches has used the fallow period to continue the improvement by undertaking a laborious resodding exercise in both goalmouths . The fruits of this labour will be seen once the sods "take" and Ciaran , Owen , JP , and all the goalkeepers benefit from the true bounce and sure underfoot conditions thereafter . Owen Hegarty and Noel Connery , meanwhile , continue to prepare their minor charges for their assault on the County Championship , as we await the outcome of the Kilmichael v Clondrohid encounter . Watch for details of this game locally to ensure that we provide these youngsters with the support that they deserve.

The winning numbers in this weeks lotto jackpot draw were 21 , 27 and 28 , and we had no ticket that matched the numbers drawn . Therefore the Jackpot Prize continues to grow , and now stands at an impressive €1,500. If you are thinking of how this would help with your Christmas shopping , why not purchase a line in this weeks draw , and support the Club at the same time . Congratulations to the Consolation Prize winners this week , who were John Howick (x 2), Darren Stack and Paul Whelan.
