The junior footballers had a league game on patricks morning against Aghada in Glenville,We were playing with a very strong wind in the first half and had two points on the board early on,Aghada were keeping in touch with pointed frees.Ger Cahill put daylight between the sides with a well taken goal and we really should have capitalised on this and increased the lead but three missed goal chances left Aghada in with a great shout at half time only trailing 1-6 TO 0-6.Aghada took control early on in the second half wind assisted, and hit the front with 10 mins to go,Glenville rgained the lead with two expertly converted frees but Aghada after a defensive mistake by our backs left themin for a goal to give them a the lead again.A pointed free in injury time sealed a win for the Rostellen side.1-12 TO 1-10.
