Killeagh GAA Notes.

KILLEAGH GAA NEWS, January 16th 2022

By Patrick Mulcahy, Killeagh GAA PRO

One of the greatest tragedies of this state’s 100-year history is what happened to Aisling Murphy last Wednesday afternoon. I don’t need to add anything to what has been said this past week, it is awful.  On Saturday afternoon, around 300 people turned up at Páirc Uí Chinnéide at 4pm for a silent walk to remember Aisling. We send our condolences to her family and friends.  If you need any help or you are concerned with anything, please contact someone, we are all here to help out.

We wish both Fullen Gaels Captain Kevin Fennelly & goalkeeper Darren Cusack in the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling semi-final this Sunday when they play Cork & Munster Champions, Ballygiblin. The game is currently is in Abbottstown with a 1:30pm throw-in but that may change yet.  Remember, Darren was the hero pulling off the winning save in the penalty shootout last week. What a game it will be! Go all the way lads! We are all behind you!
