Further development of Páirc Uí Chaoimh and adjoining lands within the Marina.

Important Informatioin and Notice from Cork County Board.

Cork County Board have created a special website to share information contained in a planning application recently submitted to Cork City Council by the Páirc Uí Chaoimh CTR.  This is in respect of further proposed development of the Páirc Uí Chaoimh Stadium Campus and its adjoining lands within the Marina Park.  Páirc Uí Chaoimh CTR Board’s ambition is to deliver an iconic sporting venue that will not just benefit Cumann Lúthchleas Gael but will also deliver social and economic benefits to both the City of Cork and the local community.

The current proposals, as set out in the planning application, represent a focused investment that responds to the stadium’s experience since opening the redeveloped stadium in 2017.  They address current and anticipated operational issues and provides facilities that meet the expectations of a modern stadium.  The proposals as set out provide an appropriate and sustainable solution to the improvement of the stadium campus and its integration with the Marina Park through the consolidation of ancillary uses at the stadium and the rationalisation of access and parking arrangements.  The website is most informative as it contains detailed information on the development proposal, a drawing and documents library with virtual images and a walkthrough.  The website can be viewed at and is very detailed.

There was an excellent webinar delivered by the County Board on Monday evening and it is recommended you view the website, and should you have any submissions they can be made to the relevant stakeholders.

Mr Kevin O'Donovan, Rúnaí, CLG Coiste Chontae Chorcaí, sincerely thanks all Club officers & delegates who tuned into last night's club briefing on the Páirc Uí Chaoimh planning application.  Additonal information and data as set out above are clear on the website so
