This past fortnight, we lost another character in Killeagh Village. Tom O’Brien of Main Street was a loyal supporter of Killeagh GAA club and was part of management team of the victorious East Cork Junior A Hurling winning team of 1970 & ‘71. Tom was often out found supporting Killeagh & Cork across the county and the country. Tom is a great loss to the village and we send our heartfelt condolences to his family, neighbours & friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
