PITCH
Even though no competition can be played and no adult training can take place there is still essential work being done at Jamesey Kelleher Memorial Park.
New fencing is being erected on the north side of the pitch and a great crowd of volunteers made a socially distanced start on bank holiday Monday .
The old fence was taken down as well as the concrete posts supporting it ,the short fence behind the bottom goals was also removed and all will be replaced by new fencing over the next few weeks.
Great thanks goes to all who attended on the morning to help out in these difficult times.
TRAINING
All adult training is now suspended as of GAA and Government guidelines, unfortunately the U21 Hurling Championship will not take place this year a big disappointment to all involved.
Juvenile training for School going children can go ahead but under strict conditions ie outdoor non contact training in pods of fifteen.
CORK GAA DRAW
The new Cork County Board draw “The Rebels Bounty draw” launch was postponed recently and the new date for the launch will either be late in 2020 or early 2021 depending on restrictions at the time.
LOTTO
The club lotto draw is still suspended all draws will take place as soon as we get back to normality.
