Our under 15s played Castlelyons in the first round of the championship in Pilmore on Sunday evening. A very entertaining game that ebbed and flowed with only a point separating the sides right up until the last ten minutes when Killeagh/Ita's pulled away with a couple of fine goals to see us win it out on a scoreline of 6-10 to 3-7.
Our Junior A footballers played Cloyne on Sunday in their third league outing. The first half was low scoring with both sides going in at half time with four points each. Not much improved in the second half, Cloyne took the advantage and the scoreline finished Cloyne 1-10, Glenbower Rovers 0-7.
Our senior hurlers played Milford in a challenge game on Saturday evening. While only a challenge, this game had plenty of bite with players fighting for positions for the upcoming league.
