GAA  REOPENING GUIDELINES
There is some light at the end of the tunnel for GAA supporters ,Croke Park have instructed clubs that pitches will be allowed open on June 29th subject to strict guidelines.
Training will be allowed to commence for adult and juvenile teams in small groups,not more than 10 players and 2 coaches in a designated area of the pitch.
The training will be non contact under social distancing guidelines ,that is two meters apart ,all forms of competition remain postponed.
Entry to club grounds will be restricted to players and management personnel.
Access to  GAA buildings and indoor facilities including meeting rooms not permitted except for a sanitized toilet facility.
On July 20th all forms of team and group training will be permitted .
Resumption of club competitions will commence from  July 31st.
Access to GAA Buildings ,indoor facilities and meeting rooms still denied.
All players to fill out a health questionnaire before recommencing training and must inform the coved officer of any changes to their health,also hand sanatizing stations will be provided and must be used.
Contact tracing measures will be in place for all players and mentors and signage must be in place around the grounds .
Water bottles must not be shared and any equipment used must be sanitized at beginning and end of training.
It is hoped that from August 10 th all indoor facilities will reopen but must be effectively cleaned after use.
These guidelines are subject to change but the main points will remain the same.
So as you can see we may have games yet this summer and we are all looking forward to it .....Please keep up the hand washing and social distancing it’s the way forward until a Vaccine is discovered.
