Glenville 0.08
Kinsale   0.06

Glenville welcomed Kinsale to Fouhy Park on Tuesday last in round 2 if the football league. This game was rescheduled from two weeks after a cancellation due to storm Ciara. Conditions were poor on the night with snow, sleet and driving rain the order of the evening. Glenville played with the gale in the first half and giving  the conditions played well in first half. We left a few scores after us, but a 5pts to 1pt halftime score didnt seem enough.
Our Scores in the first half came from Adam Murphy (2) Josh Cooke (2) and Chris Healy.
Glenville started the brighter in the second half and took the game to Kinsale. Great passing moves led to two great points from play from Josh and another great team score had Adam kicking over his third point of the evening.  We led 0.08 to 0.02 with 5 minutes remaining.  With the elements advantage with Kinsale, they did kick over a few nice points towards the end which brought the score down to 2 pts deep in injury time. Kinsale had one last opportunity to grab a late goal but our defence stood firm and held out for a second win in this league.  A solid performance from the squad, who showed great battling qualities throughout the game in trying conditions.
Well done lads.
