Juvenile medal presentation The juvenile medal presentation took place last sunday in The Fir tree bar and a great turnout and great afternoon was had by all,Medal presentation were made by Timmy McCarthy to all the victorous teams,including U16,U12,U11,AND U10 football,U15 and U10 hurling as well as ladies and camogie teams also. Junior FL Div 1. This year began with a home game against Erins Own in Fouhy Park last sunday evening,Erins Own werre very strong but Glenville competed very well and were well in contention all through.Half time we trailed by 1-4 to 1-2 but in the second half try as we might we couldnt gain parity and lost out by the minimum 1-7 to 1-6 in the finish.Good performance nontheless and boads well for the year ahead. Next league game is against Glenbower Rovers . U21 Football Further progress was made in the the Invititional cup past week which saw CIT defeat Glanworth 1-11 to 2-7 to progress to the semi final against St Vincents who beat Glenville after a great game in Fouhy Park on monday night 2-11 to 0-15.Glenville lead 0-10 to 1-2 at half time but a late flurrish from Vincents gave them a narrow win in the end. U15 team had two games over the weekend against castlelyons and Carrignavar which should prepare them for the upcoming championship game this weekend Fixtures Sat 13th U15 Football ch/ship v Russell Rovers in Shangarry at 11.30am
