KILLEAGH HEALTHY CLUBS – KILLEAGH GAA CLUB, KILLEAGH/ITAS JUVENILE CLUB, KILLEAGH CAMOGIE CLUB & INCH ROVERS LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB

One of the aspects of the Healthy Clubs Initiative in Killeagh is our walking group. The walks vary hugely and are suitable for all fitness levels. We have had some great family outings including walking the Atlantic Pond (Mahon, Cork), Glenbower Woods, Beach walks and more recently Spike Island. Lots of the walks are local and we have had very pleasant trips to Lismore, Knockadoon Cliff Walk and a historic walk of Cork City followed by breakfast.

Our most challenging walks were climbing Carrauntoohill, Galtee Mór, and a group of 30 travelled to Spain to complete a section of the Camino de Santiago. New members are always welcome, if you are interested in joining, please contact Liz Sinclair 087-6137393!

KILLEAGH GAA GOLF SOCIETY:

Firstly, it should be noted that last week’s Christmas Scramble at West Waterford GC was sponsored by Dominic & Maurette Fogarty. This was omitted in error & we are happy to correct this for the record.

Thanks to all who took part in our Tuesday outings and to our Society outings throughout the 2019 season, we hope you enjoyed them all. We return in the new year when we head for Fota Island Golf Club on January 21st for the first many Tuesday outings in 2020.

If you are interested in joining the Killeagh GAA Golf Society for their variety of trips away for 2020, give Ray Rochford a call on 087-2330054.
