Carrigtwohill GAA Club Notes 9-9-19

Senior Hurling Championship

Our senior hurlers take on Ballyhea in the Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Final this Sunday in Páirc Ui Rinn at 2pm. Carrig and Ballyhea lost their opening round games but Carrig have beaten Killeagh and Bandon to make it this far and Ballyhea have accounted for Bride Rovers and Kanturk. The winners of this round will meet Newtownshandrum or Glen Rovers in a county semi-final.

Carrig are looking to make their first senior county semi-final since winning it all in 2011. It’s sure to be a hard-fought championship tussle and the club would like to wish our players and management the very best of luck. Please come out and support our lads.

Minor Hurling Championship

Best of luck to our minor hurlers who take on St. Colmans in a Minor A East Region Final this Wednesday, September 11th in Killeagh at 7.15pm.

Carrig had a fantastic win over Eire Og in the quarter-final before a good win over Bishopstown in the semi-final. It would be great to get a big crowd down to push on the lads. Carrig abú!
