Carrigtwohill GAA Club Notes 29-07-19

East Cork Div. 2 Junior Hurling League Carrig 3-27 (36) Cloyne 3-11 (18) in Carrig on Friday, July 26th at 7.30pm. Referee: Ger Scully (Killeagh)

Our junior hurlers secured their 3rd win from 5 matches with a fine showing against Cloyne on a warm evening at West End.

Cloyne got an early goal but after they were overhauled Carrig held the lead to the end with some great scores taken. Carrig currently sit second in the Division 2 League with 3 wins, a draw and 1 loss from 5 games. Carrig will meet St. Catherines in the second round robin game of the championship in August after securing a one-point win over Youghal in the opening game.

Senior Hurling Championship

Our senior hurlers take on Killeagh in the second round of the Senior Hurling Championship this Sunday, August 4th in Midleton at 6pm. Please come out and show your full support for this fantastic group of players. Everyone in the club would like to wish the management and players the best of luck.
