Glenville Football Club

Rebel Og East U12 Division 1 Football League

Glenville 3-11

Erins Own 2-7

Glenville travelled to Caherlag on Monday night to take on the home side in round 5 of the U12 football league. After a good display from our lads throughout, we ran winners by 7 points.

U11 Football League

Glenville travelled to Kinsale on Saturday morning last to take on the home side in the U11 Football League. We had 19 players down in Kinsale. We had 2 teams. It was a mixed day in that one team Drew and the other lost. Kinsale are formidable outfit with alot of strength and depth in the squad never the less it was a good run out in advance of the final round of the John Kerins tournament on Saturday next June 15th.

U10 Football

19 of the Glenville U10s headed to Dromtariffe GAA Club on Saturday morning to take part in the first morning of the Brian Cronin Memorial Tournament. A high standard was set by the hosts and Glenville went down in their first match, despite having rallied late in the second half. The lads showed great bouncebackability in their second match against Banteer, winning well in the end. By the third game versus Kilshannig, Glenville had found their stride and won comfortably, qualifying for the cup competition next weekend when they will face a sterner test of their skills. Well done lads!
