Rebel Og Central U14 Premier 2 Football League

Glenville 4-18

Carrigtwohill 7-8

A thrilling game was played in Carrigtwohill on Friday night last in round 5 of the U14 Football League. This game was end to end all the way through and their was very little between both sides. Glenville playing against the breeze in the opening half, it was Carrigtowhill who made the best start and had a couple of goals scored in the opening exchanges. Scores from Sam, Dara, Liam and Ciaran got Glenville right back into the game to trail by the minimum at the interval. On the resumption Glenville started brightly with excellent scores from Sam, Ross, Liam and Ciaran to go into a 5-point lead. Carrig came storming back into game and went ahead again before crucial scores from Liam, Sam and Ross left Glenville ahead by a point at the full-time whistle. This was an excellent game of football with some brilliant scores taken. Well done lads!
