Dungourney 3-12 Milford 5-09
Milford were our opponents on Sunday morning last when they made the long journey to Jamesey Kelleher memorial park worthwhile leaving with maximum points.
Milford made the better start and were two goals ahead before Dungourney registered a score after that though it was nip and tuck and we had two goals ourselves from Brian Forbes and Colm Griffin but Milford held the lead at the halftime break.
Dungourney started the second half well with three unanswered points but unfortunately we were to concede two more goals to leave us six points behind again as time was running out .We managed another goal with a few minutes remaining but try as we might Milford’s defense held out and they held on for a good victory.
