Championship Action Sunday
On Sunday next both our Senior & Junior Hurling teams are involved in championship.
After a long break due to Cork’s involvement in the All-Ireland series our senior hurlers return to championship action on Sunday against a highly fancied Na Piarsaigh side.
The game is fixed for 4pm Sunday in Midleton and is part of a double header with Killeagh and St Finbarrs playing at 2.15pm so supporters are advised to leave plenty time for traffic & parking.
The Rovers preparation has being difficult with the uncertainty about the date of the game. Good wins recently against Tallow in the Tony Walsh Tournament and Carrigtwohill have helped.
Our Junior Hurlers are in action on Sunday night at 8pm against Killeagh in Carrigtwohill. After the disappointment of a first round loss to Sarsfields, the team will be hoping to bounce back with a win.
We wish both teams all the best and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Great Win for Cork U21’s
The Cork U21 Hurling team progressed to the All-Ireland Final with a facile victory over Wexford in Nolan Park last Saturday. A dominant display by Cork resulted in a 3-26 to 0-13 win. Cork will play the winners of Galway or Tipperary in what will be their first final in this grade in 20 years.
