Golf Society:

Our most recent outing was to Castlemartyr Resort Golf Club where Padraig McGrath's Presidents' Prize competition took place on Saturday October 28th It was also the 25th anniversary of our first society outing. Once again there was a very good turnout in support of Padraig and The Golf Society. It was a lovely day to play golf and the Castlemartyr course was in great condition for the day. The final scores were very good and the winner was Mr. Tim Crotty on a massive 38pts. The prize giving was held in Power's Bar, Mount Uniacke on Saturday night where the large attendance enjoyed the craic, the food and the company. Our thanks to Power's Bar for their wonderful support of the Golf Society and the GAA Club and also thanks to all our generous sponsors throughout the year. Full results of the outing were: Tim Crotty 38pts, Ger Fitzgibbon 36pts, Mike Lynch 36pts, Best Gross Colin Fogarty, Eddie Hayes 35pts, Ray Rochford 35pts, Andy Walsh 34pts, 2nd Gross John Walsh, Past Captain Sean Treacy, Best Guest Brendan Barry, 2nd Guest Sean Wade.
