The Kube; Our Club Social Night held in conjunction with ‘The Kube’ fundraiser was a huge success. It took place on Saturday night last, November 19th and was held in The Radisson Blu Hotel in Little Island. There was a huge attendance from our community to lend their support to the thirty six contestants who took up the challenge. We had a huge and positive response from everybody and we owe a great deal of thanks to all our supporters who attended. We would also like to thank our numerous and generous sponsors who dug deep to support both the event and the contestants. We would like to congratulate and thank all the contestants for taking up the challenge and well done to the eventual winner, Andy Walsh, who, by the way, made all the challenges look easy. All our contestants nominated various worthy causes and Andy’s nominated charity was the Irish Cancer Society. Congratulations also to Philip O'Neill who was the winner of the monster raffle prize of a trip to Portugal.

DCS Draw; Our latest draw for members of the DCS scheme took place at our Social Night out at The Radisson Blu Hotel. We congratulate all our winners and thank them and all members of our DCS scheme for their continued and valuable support. The results of the draw were as follows: 1st prize of €2000 went to Wm & Noreen Kelly, 2nd prize of €1000 went to Sheila Spillane. There were eight further prizes of €250 each to the following: Kevin Galvin, John Keniry, Pat O'Callaghan, Tim & Mary Crotty, Bernard & Trish Rochford, Conor Murphy, James & Joanne Landers and to Donie & Mary Treacy.
