Well done to the U11's for coming third in their league today in Mallow today.
We had 18 players, so played two teams of nine, with both teams losing to a very large squad Fermoy in the opening game.
This put us in the play-off with Glanmire and both our teams won their games (2-07 to 1-09 and 6-05 to 4-02).
The overall final was won by Douglas. We were by far the smallest club to get this far in this competition and had the smallest panel on the day. Great credit goes to every single one of our players who gave their all in their matches today.

The under 11 Panel That Took Part in the League Finals in Mallow.

Last Wednesday was Juvenile Club training evening followed by the Club BBQ. Thanks to everyone who baked, cooked burgers, served food and drinks, washed up and all the parents, family members and club members that supported the evening. It was a great success with very positive feedback. Next year our Club will be 130 years old and there will be a significant social programme to celebrate 130 years of Glenville GAA.

Great to see Glenville u12 player Donal Sheehan grace the Croke Park sod Last Sunday. Donal was selected from Glenville National School to take part in the halftime game in the Dublin/Mayo match. A very dedicated lad and a great honour for the Sheehan household and Glenville GAA. Well Done Donal.

Thanks Jason o Callaghan of Supervalu who sponsored footballs for our juvenile club.
