The draws for the East Cork Hurling C’Ship 2016 have taken place and full details of all draws and dates can be found on eastcorkgaa.com website. This year, 2016, saw three of our senior teams record a remarkable accomplishment. Our senior hurling team and our junior ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams all won their opening matches in their respective championship competitions- Killeagh beat Muskerry in the Cork SHC, our junior ‘A’s beat Lisgoold and our junior ‘B’s beat Watergrasshill in their East Cork Championship competitions. Well done to all involved both inside and outside the respective teams and hopefully they can continue to add to these recent successes. Our junior ‘B’ hurlers played Carrignavar in round 5 of this years’ East Cork championship in Caherlag on Saturday afternoon last and played very well to record a fine victory on a final score of 4-14 to 3-11. They are now in the semi-final of this competition where they will play Sarsfields.
