ALL Roads lead to Aghada this Friday night

There is only one place to be this Friday night as the intermediate Footballers take on Youghal in round 2 of the championship. After a disappointing loss to Glanworth in the first round our lads will be determined to come away with a win.  We will be coming into this game in great form after our four point win over st Nick’s in League on Sunday Morning Last. We will be hoping for a great game of football and that the good weather will stay with us   right through the week. The very best of luck to the lads and management team your support is vital throw in at 7:30.

Under 13 secure League Final Place as we continue our unbeaten run

On a lovey Monday afternoon in Glenville our under 13 Team welcomed Mayfield on home soil for this latest encounter in the league. Having won 5 out of 5 games we knew a win here today would secure our place in this year’s league final. What more can you ask for on a lovey summers evening with sun shining brightly as both teams played out a cracker of a game. It finished up 7-14 to 5-10 in our favour. Well done lads on a great win we have one final league game left to play against Kilmurry which will be played in the coming weeks.

That same evening saw our minor footballers take on Ballygarven in the final round of the non-exam league. Both teams played out a thriller of a match with at all finishing level at the full time whistle 3-12 to 2-15.
