Cloyne Gaa Notes;

Lotto;

We had no winner of last week’s lotto draw for a €6,800 jackpot but we had one winner of the match 3 plus the bonus prize of €1000.

The winning numbers drawn were 13,20,23,28 bonus 3.

Congratulations to Adam O’Lomasney c/o J O’Lomasney who wins €1000 for matching 3 numbers plus the bonus number.

We didn’t have any match 3 winners so the following lucky dip winners each receive €30.

Next week’s draw for a €7,000 jackpot will take place in Auntie Biddies bar with tickets coasting only €2 available from all local outlets and committee members.

 

Intermediate Hurling;

The Intermediate hurlers continue their preparations for round 2A against Fermoy with a Division 1 league game v Meelin on Thursday night in Cloyne at 8pm.The result and report will be included in next week’s notes. The aforementioned championship game v Fermoy is fixed for Saturday 18th June in P Ui Rinn at 6.15pm which will be followed by Midleton v Newtownshandrum in the Senior Hurling championship.

 

Junior Hurling;

The Junior hurlers who are also in championship preparation mode have a home league game against Carrigtohill on Wednesday night at 7.30, a report will follow in next week’s notes.

 

The Kube;

The GAA club’s next fundraising event “The Kube” in association with the Cloyne Community Council will take place on Saturday 2nd July in the Radisson Hotel Little Island.This event is based on the very successful TV3/ITV program of the same name and consists of 36 contestants performing tasks inside the KUBE with the eventual winner taking home a substantial cash prize.Tickets for what will be a very enjoyable night are only €20 and are available from all GAA and Community Council committee members.

 

Cul Camps 2016.

This year’s St Colman’s Cul Camp will take place in Cloyne from 18th to 22nd July incl. Contact and camp details from Michelle Smiddy on 0879767810. -
