Minors maintain unbeaten run

Well the sun is shining brightly the days are getting longer and what a perfect week for a Game of Football. With exams approaching thick and fast there has been very limited playing action on the field. So Far the minors are still unbeaten in the league as we recorded wins overs St Vincent’s and Ballinora in the latest round of the Non Exam League.  Having won four out of four our under 13 Footballers will be aiming that one step further on Friday Night as they will face a strong Killeagh Itas Side away in the League and if we come away with a win a place in the league final will be very liked secured.

Juvenile Blitz

Last Wednesday on a lovely summers Day the young gungs of Glenville and Fermoy took centre stage in the latest round of the blitz. We had players ranging from under 6 to under 9 with all getting equal amount of game time. There is great potential for these young lads just goes to show that the training does pay off. Great turnout by our U6s, U7s, U8s and 9s.  Our U10s were also training on the evening. Thank you to the trainers and mentors for all their work, parents who supplied food, parents who helped with teas/coffees and all club members who helped out on the evening.

Minor Non Exam League Results

Our Minors Footballers are still unbeaten in 2016 after we easily saw off a Dogged St Vincent side in which was a good game off Football. Last Night on what was a lovely afternoon for a game Football we had a seven point win over a strong and tough Ballinora Side over all this was the toughest game we have played so Far. Our Final Game in the completion will be next Tuesday Night At home to Ballygarven.
