A proud night for club and parish. Unfortunately we were beaten by Donaghamore in the County Final on Sunday evening - well done and hard luck to all concerned. Our junior hurlers beat Shanagarry on Sunday morning on a scoreline of 4.12 to 1.13 to book their place in the league final against Dungourney. Our junior A footballers are also in the league final v Lisgoold while our senior hurlers have reached the semi final of theIr league and our junior B footballers are still in championship so there is still loads of silverware to be won, there's loads of room at the top table of the dinner dance which is being held in November this year. All dates, times and venues will be announced as soon as they come to hand keep an eye on the web site for more news. Hard luck to our minor A footballers who were beaten on the day by Erin's Own in the A final in Lisgoold on Saturday evening in front of a small group of supporters on a score line of Erins Own 1.10 Killeagh Ita's 1.05. Well done to all concerned. There are still a few places left in our 200 club which raises much needed funds for the running of our club if interested contact any club member. To all those who are supporting us, THANK YOU! As a small club you can see how successful we are so it is vital that we all pull together and support each other.
