On Sunday 17th, Imokilly played Carrigtwohill in a challenge game. Ref Ger Scully threw in the bal at 12pm to get the game underway, with Imokilly down on numbers because a lot of club games were taking place on Sunday it was a good game of Hurling Carrigtwohill were the better of the two teams on the day winning out in the end on a score of 2-17 to Imokilly 1-14

Well done to the following Imokilly players who were there on the day

Trevor O'Keeffe, Barra O Tuma, John BArry, Declan Varner, Stephen O'Keeffe, Tim Geaney, Daniel Mangan, Eoin Condon, Ger Melvin, Shane O'Regan, Ian Cahill, Barry Lawton, Cian Sprigs, Shane Moroney, Adam McAuliffe, Jordan Sherlock, Cathal Leahy. The lads put in a good mornings work and it was good to see both teams getting a run out in nice weather for a change.

The next big date in the calendar is Wed May 18th when Imokilly take on Youghal in the Abernathy Cup in Castlemartyr. We will give more details closer to the event.

People i would most like to meet: Conor McGregor and Megan Fox

If you could change anything in hurling what would it be: Nothing very happy with the way it is

Most important skill in the game: First touch and striking

Best hurling memories: Beating Cloughduv in the county final replay last year

Fav sport other then hurling: Soccer

In 10 years time I will be happy with? -  A good job and still playing hurling with Dungourney
