Club Lotto Results;

Our last lotto draw took place on Tuesday March 8th where there was no winner of the €13,800 jackpot. Numbers for the draw were 1, 2, 8 and 21. Lucky dip winners were Ger Collins, Jim Keating, Beryl Cronin and Ann Marie O’Connor. The jackpot prize for our next draw will be €14,000. It will take place in our clubhouse on Tuesday night, March 22nd. Upcoming Club Events Diary 2016:

We have dates for events at our club for 2016 so please make a note in your diary.

Our Golf Classic for 2016 is scheduled for July 14th-16th at West Waterford Golf and Country Club

GAA Cul Camp week for 2016 is scheduled for July 18th – 22nd at Pairc Ui Chinneide

East Cork Football/Hurling;

The draws for the East Cork Football C’Ship were made recently and full details of all draws and dates can be found on website

Our junior footballers play Aghada in Rostellan on Monday 21st @ 19.45 in a JFL Div 2 fixture. Their first outing in the championship is against Dungourney on Sunday 27th March @ 2.00pm in Youghal. The team and selectors and club would appreciate your support so please try your best to come out and cheer your team. Details of all fixtures are available on

Red FM SHL/Cork SH Championship 2016:

Our senior hurling team played Na Piarsaigh in Killeagh on Monday evening March 14th and came away with a fine win on a score of 1-12 to 0-13. They played Ballyhea on St Patricks Day in Ballyhea and unfortunately lost out on a score of 0-16 to 1-05.  Full details of all competition draws, fixtures, results and tables are available on

Golf Society:

Our very busy golf society continued their schedule of outings for 2016 with a very well attended day at Youghal Golf Club on Sunday March 20th. Sponsorship for the outing  was provided by Fitzgibbons Garage, Killeagh and the society would like to thank Ger Fitzgibbon and Family for their generous sponsorship on the day. The prize-giving was held in The Old Thatch Bar on Sunday night and was very well attended. Winner of the days golf was Joe Higgins who finished with a great score of 37 points.

Results: Joe Higgins 37pts, Ger Ahern 36pts, Ger Fitzgibbon 36pts, Best Gross Colin Fogarty,  Ann Rochford 35pts, Brendan Barry 35pts, Tim Crotty 35pts.
