ST Colman’s U21;

The St Colmans U 21 footballers played their first game as an amalgamation at this level when they took on Lisgoold in the quarter final on Saturday last in Cloyne.

Lisgoold who up to this year were part of the Castlegoold amalgamation with Castlemartyr proved no match for the stronger St Colmans outfit but battled bravely to the end with a very young squad.

Junior  Division 1 Football;

On Sunday morning we welcomed our championship opponents Carraig Na bhfear to Cloyne for our second league game of the season.

On a perfect morning for football we came up just short by 2 points 2.08 to 2.06.

At half time we trailed by just a point 1.03 to 1.02 with Paudie O’Sullivan our goal scorer. The second half began with our opponents very much on top scoring 1.03 without reply to open up a strong lead.We finished the game strongly however missing some excellent goal chances before Colm O’Sullivan eventually found the net.
