Lisgoold Lotto Jackpot of €20,000 remains up for grabs!

Lisgoold Lotto Draw Numbers, Feb 16th: 3, 6, 13, 28; No Winner.

Next draw Woods’ Bar; winners of the Feb 23rd draw were will be reported in the next issue.

Note - The clubs lotto licence has a limit of €20,000. For every week that the jackpot stands at €20,000 the roll over amount of €100 is added to the reserve jackpot. Until the jackpot is won, our weekly media post will also include the reserve jackpot amount, currently at €1,200.

 

New Lotto sub-committee

The members of the new lotto sub-committee are John Joe Regan, Mary Brosnan, Finbarr Brosnan, Padraig Ryan and Patrick O'Mahony; a special thanks to Ciaran Cronin for his role in this committee in the past few years.

 

Juvenile Club Events

St. Patrick’s Day Parade: On the back of the most successful year for our Juvenile club last year - winning several county and regional finals, as well as representing Cork in the U14 All Ireland Hurling Féile, our club has been invited to lead the local St. Patrick’s Day parade. 

Easter Camp: We are preparing to run an Easter camp on Tues 29th Mar – Fri 1st Apr for the age groups U6 to U12 inclusive, subject to having coaches and volunteers in place.

Summer Cúl Camp – our annual summer Cúl Camp will run the week of 18th July.  Bookings for this can be made online when available. 

 

Well done Diarmuid!

Congratulations to local underage hurler, Diarmuid Healy, whose athletic exploits were recognized by being presented with young East Cork athlete of the year last week.

 

CIT bow out of Fitzgibbon Cup

John Cronin and John Cashman were prominent for CIT who lost the Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-final against tournament holders, UL on Wed 17th Feb on a scoreline of UL 2-19 CIT 3-11. This year’s Fitzgibbon cup is unique in that three of the four semi-finalists are coming from Limerick colleges: UL, Mary I and LIT.

Cash for clobber

Cash for Clobber, Wed 24th Feb, 7-8pm at GAA grounds. All clean clothing, shoes, belts, bags, curtains etc. are accepted (but not duvets or pillows).
