Well done to Laura Whelan who superbly represented Cork at the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals in Killarney last weekend. Laura took part in the Recitation and qualified after her victories in Cork and Munster. It brought back memories from the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals in 1998, when Joanne O’Keeffe, representing Lisgoold GAA and Cork, was presented with a winning medal by Joe McDonagh, then GAA president.

Scór na bPáistí (or primary school Scór) will be held in Lisgoold Community Hall this coming weekend. Stay close to our clubtext, Facebook and Twitter feeds for further details.
