Club Lotto Results;

Our last lotto draw took place on Tuesday January 19th where there was no winner of the €12,200 jackpot. Numbers for the draw were 2, 15, 21, and 25. Lucky dip winners were Abby O’Neill, Aaron Walsh, Daniel Walsh and Mr. Tom Kelly. The jackpot prize for our next draw will be €12,400. It will take place in our clubhouse on Tuesday night, January 26th. You can now purchase your lotto ticket on-line; just follow the lotto link on the homepage of our website – www.killeaghgaa.org. SHL/Championship 2016:

The Red FM Senior Hurling League is scheduled to commence on the week-end of the 28th February. Killeagh senior hurling team start off their campaign with a home game against Na Piarsaigh. More details to follow when fixtures have been finalised.

The new format for the county championship programme begins this coming season. In the senior hurling championship, Killeagh GAA club have been drawn to play Muskerry in the only preliminary tie of the draw. The winners of the tie go up against Newtownshandrum in the first round proper and the losers of the tie go into round 2B losers round where they will face the loser of the Erin’s Own/CIT Round 1 game. More details and explanations of the new format are available on the Cork GAA website.

Club Shop;

The Club shop is open on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.30am. Plan a visit to your club shop where you can choose from a wide selection of sports accessories in your club colours. Replica jerseys (all sizes), shorts, training clothing, etc. are available for all ages. Please support your club by purchasing from the club shop. Killeagh GAA Golf Society;

Killeagh GAA Golf Society are delighted to announce details of their annual away weekend of golf for 2016. It will take place on the weekend of March 4th and 5th. A great value weekend deal has been secured at the Aspect Hotel in Kilkenny where the cost per person sharing for 2 nights B and B and 1 evening dinner is €115. To book your stay please contact Mr Tim Crotty on 0872542193. Golf will be played on Friday in Callan for €25 and on Saturday in Kilkenny golf club for €30. Both courses offer fine course and clubhouse facilities and lend themselves to enjoyable golf breaks.  Accommodation is limited so you need to contact Tim as soon as possible to secure your place on what is always a very enjoyable weekend. A deposit of €25 is required at booking stage.

Events for 2016:

We have some dates for important events at our club for 2016 so please make a note in your diary now.

Registration Day for all is scheduled to take place at Pairc Ui Chinneide on Sunday 7th February.

Killeagh GAA Club will be hosting its Annual Registration Day for all adult members (players and non-players) and Killeagh-Ita’s juvenile club will simultaneously have registration for all boys from Fé 5 to Fé 18 wishing to join the club for 2016. Our Club Shop will also be open for you to buy your club equipment and gear (jerseys, hurleys, helmets, hoodies, socks, shorts, etc). Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon for both adults and children.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday 7th February between 2.30 p.m. and 5.00 p.m.

A Four-mile Road Race and Fun-run is scheduled for Sunday 13th March, see notice below

Our Golf Classic for 2016 is scheduled for July 14th-16th at West Waterford Golf and Country Club

GAA Cul Camp week for 2016 is scheduled for July 18th – 22nd at Pairc Ui Chinneide
