Carrigtwohill GAA Notes

19 January, 2016

nder 21 Football;

Our playing season began last Sunday morning when our Under 21 Footballers entertained Kilbrittain in a challenge game played in blustery conditions in Carrigtwohill. Kilbrittain were the much sharper outfit in the first half and were full value for their eight point lead at the break. A much more committed and industrious Carrig team took control of the game in the second period putting some delightful scores on the board but time ran out and Kilbrittain were winners at the end 5  6 to 2 11.Well done to Team Management and players. It is hoped to have a further challenge game next weekend in preparation for our championship game in mid February.
