U14 and U16 teams meet the Lord Mayor

After their exploits last year, our under 14 and 16 hurling teams, along with chairperson, Norma Woods, cultural officer, John Joe Regan and team mentor Stephen Roe were received at the Council chambers in City Hall Cork by the Lord Mayor of cork on Wed, 12 Jan. The lads brought along the silverware and Stephen presented the Lord Mayor with a locally made hurley.

A reminder of the Juvenile club AGM, Monday Jan 18 at 8pm in our new club house. It is open to all and we encourage parents to attend.


Club Membership

Membership is vital to continue to develop our club both on and off the field. Club membership is open to all in the community with various membership categories available (e.g. non playing adult, senior citizen, etc.). We always welcome new members and we encourage everyone with an interest in GAA to join our club. If you are new to the community or have being thinking about getting involved, we would love to hear from you. Please do get in touch -


Gym Induction

The club gym is being used now by club members. If you wish to use the gym but missed the initial induction sessions, please contact Seamus, (087-2791699). If there is sufficient interest, a further induction session will be arranged.


Club Clothing

Weekly Lotto Draw

We had no winner of last week’s Lotto draw for the €19,800 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 16, 21, 32. There was no winner of the Lotto plus draw; the numbers drawn were 15, 25, 31, 33. Lucky dip winners of €20: Donie Murphy & Pat Hurley. Winners of the Jan 19th draw were will be reported in the next issue.



County Board Lotto Draw

Scór na nÓg

The club extends its best wishes to Laura Whelan who will be competing in the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals in Killarney on Sat, 30th Jan.


Scór Sinsear Ui Mac Coille in Lisgoold Sunday 31st Jan, 7:30 pm.

The East Cork divisional finals of Scor Sinsear will be held in Lisgoold Community Centre on Sun, 31 Jan. We are looking for some of our local entertainers – singers, story tellers, dancers to represent Lisgoold at the finals.
