Club Membership

Membership is vital to continue to develop our club both on and off the field. Club membership is open to all in the community with various membership categories available (e.g. non playing adult, senior citizen, etc.). We always welcome new members and we encourage everyone with an interest in GAA to join our club. If you are new to the community or have being thinking about getting involved, we would love to hear from you. Please do get in touch -

Junior Hurling & Football

It may not fell like it, but the playing season is just around the corner. John Boylan returns to the club as coach and we wish him, players and management the best of luck for the forthcoming season.

Gym Induction

The club gym is being used now by club members. If you wish to use the gym but missed the initial induction sessions, please contact Seamus, (087-2791699). If there is sufficient interest, a further induction session will be arranged.


We have a very vibrant juvenile section exemplified by more than 70 kids and 12 mentors from U6-U10 turning up for the first training sessions of the year last Saturday. It was very encouraging to see so many of the new U6 recruits enjoying their first training session. The training details for the various teams are listed below.

U6 - Training Sat, 11-12 pm, Community Hall.

U8 - Training Sat, 12-1 pm, Community Hall

U10 - Training Sat, 10-11 am, Community Hall; Wed, 7-8 pm, Community Hall.

U12 - Training Wed, 7:30-8:30 pm, Carrigtwohill Astro

U14 - Training Wed, 7:30-8:30 pm, Carrigtwohill Astro; Sat, 11:30-12:30 pm, Community Hall.

U16 - Training Wed, 7-8 pm, Club House Gym

U18 – Training commences Mon 25th, Club House Gym.

The U10 squad that took part on training last Saturday is pictured below.

Juvenile AGM

The juvenile club is holding its AGM on Mon 18th Jan in the Club House.

Club Clothing

Weekly Lotto Draw

We had no winner of last week’s Lotto draw for the €19,800 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 15, 18, 19, 20. There was no winner of the Lotto plus draw; the numbers drawn were 2, 20, 21, 24. Lucky dip winners of €20: Michael Martin & Oliver Barry. Winners of the Jan 12th draw were will be reported in the next issue.

County Board Lotto Draw

Scór na nÓg

The club extends its best wishes to Laura Whelan who will be competing in the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals in Killarney on Sat, 30th Jan.

East Cork Scór Sinsear Finals

The East Cork divisional finals of Scor Sinsear will be held in Lissgoold Community Centre on Sun, 31 Jan. Anyone interested in representing the club, please contact our Cultural Officer, John Joe Regan 086-3327642.
