We had no winner of last week’s lotto draw for a €11,000 jackpot or no winner of the €1000 prize for matching 3 numbers plus the bonus.

The winning numbers drawn were 1,6,11,27 bonus 24.

We had 4 match 3 winners who each receives €40.

4k Commons Challenge.

The second running of the popular 4k race series had a very successful opening race on Sunday morning last. Over 240 runners took part on what was a beautiful morning for a run, the series continues on Sunday 20th December and on the second last Sunday of every month until March.

Entry fee is only €5 and runners that complete any 4 of the 5 races will receive a free Tee shirt.

Golf Society;

The Christmas 3 ball scramble will this year take place on Sunday 13th December at 11.15 in Water Rock kindly sponsored by Mr. Eoin O’Gorman of Auntie Biddies Bar. The Society’s AGM will take place after the prize giving on the night.

Christmas Swim;

There’s still time to dust down the wetsuit in preparation for the Christmas morning swim in Ballycroneen, this year’s task is to better last year’s turnout of 72 swimmers.
